FAFSA

This year the FAFSA was recently updated and some of the previous information we have known about how to complete the FAFSA or terms they used may change.

Students and Families are encouraged to start and finish their financial aid applicaiton as soon as possible to increase your chances of getting certain types of aid and to speed up the timeline of when you should receive an official financial aid offer from the colleges that accpeted you.

Franklin offered a Senior Family Financial Aid Night on November 30 at 6 PM please click here to go to Senior Corner to see the presentation from this event.

Franklin will also have a Cash for College Virtural Workshop on Tuesday, February 27th starting at 6 PM. More information on how to register and get the link to attend will come out later.

You can receive FREE tuition at a California Community College, but only if you complete the FAFSA or CADAA (Dream Act Application) and completing the FAFSA is the only way to know for sure if you might qualify for free money to help pay for college from the state or federal government.
