World Language Department Page
Our World Language Department is proud to offer three different world language pathways to choose from. All students must take two years of a world language.
- French
- Japanese
- Spanish
Students can take multiple languages after meeting the two year requirement if they have space in their schedule. Please click here to visit our course catalog page to view all World Language classes and course descripitions.

Students who take four years may have a chance to earn the Seal of Biliteracy on their Diploma. Ask your counselor or world language teacher if you have additional questions.
Accelerated College Entrance (ACE) Participants (please ask your world language teacher for more info)
Students who take Spanish or French 3 or 4 may also qualify for the ACE program to possibly receive college credit through Sac State. Please ask your world language teacher for more information.
