Course Selection

Current Franklin High School Students Grades 9-11 for 2025-2026 School Year:

Current 8th grade students attending Franklin next year will need to scroll down for your course selection information

1.	PRE-Course Selection Advocacy Lessons & Resources (these resources are in the incoming grade-level links below):
	This will help students brainstorm options with their family and prepare for live in-person course selection. These lessons will be available on their incoming grade-level course selection subpages listed below.

COURSE SELECTION EVENTS BY GRADE LEVEL:

Students must attend their grade-level course selection night. This is a drop in event and students can leave when finished. Lines will likely be shorter around 4 or 4:30 PM if you want to avoid the longer line.

Incoming 12th Grade Course Selection
- Tuesday, February 3rd 3:20-5:30 PM in the MP Room

Incoming 11th Grade Course Selection
- Thursday, February 5th 3:20-5:30 PM in the MP Room

Incoming 10th Grade Course Selection
- Tuesday, February 10th 3:20-5:30 PM in the MP Room

Only if you are not a current Franklin High student, but you are enrolled here for next school year, then you will need to physically come by Franklin High School’s Student Services Building to fill out a paper course selection form to get this completed. If you are unable to do this, then classes will be selected for you according to your transcript & graduation requirements.

COURSE SELECTION EVENTS BY LAST NAME:

Students and parents/guardians must attend to get more information and select their classes. Please only come to your course selection night based on your last name because we do not have enough room for more students/families to attend a particular night. Students and parents/guardians need to arrive by 6 PM. Thank you!

Incoming 9th Grade (A-L) Course Selection (Last Name Starts With A-L):
- Tuesday, January 27 6-7 PM at Franklin's MP Room

Incoming 9th Grade (M-Z) Course Selection (Last Name Starts With M-Z):
- Thursday, January 29 6-7 PM at Franklin's MP Room

If you are not a current Toby Johnson Middle School student, but you are enrolled to attend Franklin High for next school year, then you should still attend your course selection night and use the online resources for further guidance. If you are unable to fill out a course selection form, then classes will be selected for you according to typical grade-level graduation requirements. Thank you!
