Franklin High School STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math)!

Franklin High School offers “school within a school” programs that allow students to explore a variety of technical fields based on industry standards.  Formerly known as STEM, GREEN, and Digital Arts, these programs are uniting under one umbrella and will be referred to as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).  Program areas include:

  • Computer Science
  • Web Design
  • Engineering Design
  • Engineering Technology
  • Design Arts
  • Media Arts 
  • Animation

Students in STEAM are required to complete 4 courses in the designated sequence, earn 25 community service hours each year, and participate in STEAM activities.

If you are currently an 8th grader residing in the Franklin High School attendance area for the 2019-20 school year, you may apply to STEAM by following the two steps below:

STEP 2:  Print and sign the contract (click here). The contract can either be delivered to Franklin High School’s main office or scanned and emailed to sdeherre@egusd.net.
