In the month of April, 11th grade & 12th grade students will participate in the Spring 2018 administration of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP).

The CAASPP includes the following components:
11th grade: SBAC English & Math Tests
12th grade: CAST Science Test

Senior Parents Needed – Volunteers for Sober Grad Night

Franklin’s Sober Grad Night will be held the evening of Wednesday, May 23 – through early morning on May 24th. The Sober Grad community has been working on the event all year but now is in need of 30 – 40 additional volunteers to help pull off this fun-filled and worthwhile evening for our graduating seniors. There are a number of different activities and time slots available. Your senior students will be so busy they will not even know that you are there! El curso de los primeros auxilios para la salud mental de los jóvenes es un
programa de educación que presenta a los participantes los factores de riesgo y
señales de advertencia de los problemas de la salud mental en adolescentes,
construye la comprensión de la importancia en la intervención temprana, y enseña
a las personas cómo ayudar a los jóvenes que están experimentando una crisis o
un desafío de salud mental, o abuso de sustancias.

Cosas importantes que considerar:
1.) El entrenamiento es GRATIS Y EN ESPAÑOL SOLAMENTE.
2.) Está disponible para cualquier miembro de la comunidad.
3.) Es obligatorio completar las ocho horas del entrenamiento para recibir su certificación.

Student Support and Health Services is hosting its first Spanish Youth Mental Health First Aid training to any interested Elk Grove community member and EGUSD staff. 

This training will be held on Saturday, April 28th from 8:00am-5:00pm at the Trigg Center in room 111 and will be taught solely in Spanish.

YMHFA is a FREE 8-hour training available to any EGUSD employee or community member
